Corporate Governance

The founding principal of Mentor Capital Corporate Governance is that the business is owned by the shareholders, not management.  Many of the problems of excessive risk and compensation we see in the press would be mitigated if board members were at least nominated by the largest shareholders.  At Mentor Capital we have gone a step further and the largest shareholders are the directors.  As Mentor Capital completes its self registration and filing of its form 10 this ownership philosophy will become more codified.
