Chet Billingsley: The CEO and Chairman, Chet Billingsley is a native of Minnesota, born in 1952. He received a congressional appointment and did his undergraduate work at West Point. Later he went to graduate school at Harvard University where he received a Master's Degree in Applied Physics with concurrent study at Harvard Business School and MIT's Nuclear Engineering Department.
Mr. Billingsley spent the major portion of his early career at General Electric in the energy and high tech sectors in project, turn-around and international management positions. In 1985 he formed Tech Start, the predecessor to Mentor Capital in the heart of Silicon Valley. He has held the general manager or president position since that time.
In 1995 he took the firm public and has had lead responsibility in the Tech III Partners, Cambridge Equity Partners, and Mentor Investors I, LP financial partnerships. He has directed the succesful acquisition or investment in thirty-one operating business entities.

Earl Kornbrekke (65), Stan Shaul (45), and James Blazeck (56) are each, or have been, private company presidents and each is a significant independent shareholder. Sharon Breon (56) has an accounting degree from Auburn University, has been a lifelong investor, and is the Company's largest shareholder.
